Třetí závod letošní sezony se pojede na okruhu v Bahrainu. V loňské sezoně zde zvítězil N.Rosberg , ten však již nezávodí a tak uvidíme nového držitele ceny pro vítěze. Pole závodníků se již po dvou závodech rozdělilo podle výkonnosti teamů. O titul budou bojovat stáje Mercedes, Ferrari a Red Bull , zde záleží na jejích spolehlivosti motorů a kvalitě jezdců. Lewis Hamilton je podle všeho ve startovním poli nejvíce favorizován na titul mistra světa , jelikož má vynikající auto , je skvělý jezdec a je stájová jednička , kdy V.Bottas jistě mu bude v boji o titul nápomocen. U Ferrari to není tak jednoznačně nastavené a tak Sebastian Vettel bude muset bojovat o titul i se svým kolegou Kimi Raikkonenem. Fin však v posledních letech spíše jezdí na pohodu a pro klid  než by se pral o titul. Je to jistě kvalitní jezdec leč zřejmě jeden titul mistra světa mu stačí. Naopak jeho kolega S.Vettel je hladový po vítězství a dalších titulech. Max Verstappen a Daniel Riccardo mají také velké ambice a budou znepříjemńovat souboj o titul , navíc nikde není psáno , že během sezony jejích vůz nezvýšší výkon motoru a oba konkurenty dojede .

Střed pole patří stájím Toro Roso, Force India a Haas , zde je jasné , že ambice na titul nemají , ale rádi do těchto bojů zasáhnou ze zadních pozic a potrápí favority. Nemůžeme po dvou závodech ani zatracovat stáje Renault, Sauber či McLaren leč jejich výkonost není optimální a to především o poslední jmenované kde se trápí Fernando Alonso. Velmi potěšitelné v letošní sezoně je fakt , že zde máme nové jezdce a ti se snaží přesvědčit o jejich dobré výkonnosti. Esteban Ocon , Lance Stroll, Antonio Giovinazzi v kvalifikacích i treninku ukazovali výborné výkony a prvně jmenovaný má již jeden bod na svém kontě .

The third race of this season will be held at the circuit in Bahrain. In last season the winner here was N.Rosberg , but he has not been  racing any more, therefore will have an opportunity to see a new holder of prize for the winner. After two races the grid of racers has divided by the performance of the teams. The title contest is supposed to be between Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull, it depends on the reliability of the engines and the drivers´competency. In the grid Lewis Hamilton seems to be the most favoured for the title of the world champion,  since he has a first-class car, he is a great rider and the team leader and he will surely be assisted by  Valtteri Bottas in fight  for the title. For Ferrari it is not so clearly set  Sebastian Vettel will have to fight for the title with his colleague Kimi Raikkonen.  In recent years this  Finn rides rather with ease than being  fighting for the title. He is certainly a good rider but apparently one world title is sufficient for him . On the contrary, his colleague S.Vettel is hungry for victories and other titles. Max Verstappen and Daniel Riccardo have great ambitions as well  and they will spoil  the fight for the title,  besides, it is not pencilled in that during the season  the engine power of their cars will not be increased and they draw levels with  both competitors.

Center of the grid includes such team as Toro Roso, Force India and Haas, apparently they do not have an ambition for  the title, but they can enter into these struggles from the rear position  giving to favorites a hard time. Neither  after two races we can reject such team as Renault, Sauber or McLaren , however their performance is not optimal, it applies especially to the last mentioned one where Fernando Alfonso struggles.In this season is a cheering fact that there are new riders who do their best to  prove their good performance. Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll, Antonio Giovinazzi showed an excellent performance both in qualifications and training. The former  has already won  a point to his credit
