Oficiální testování před 11. sezónou mistrovství světa ABB FIA Formule E bylo zahájeno v Madridu od 5. do 8. listopadu 2024
Společnost DS Automobiles, která se účastní mistrovství světa ABB FIA Formule E od roku 2015, nyní zahajuje svou 10. sezónu v této čistě elektrické sérii
Francouzský pilot Jean-Eric Vergne a jeho německý týmový kolega Maximilian Günther usedají za volant nového vozu DS E-Tense FE25 v barvách DS PENSKE
Po strašlivých záplavách, které postihly region v okolí Valencie, Formule E přesunula oficiální testy před 11. sezónou, které byly naplánovány na okruhu Ricardo Tormo, do španělského hlavního města Madridu. Tato důležitá předehra k úvodnímu podniku šampionátu, který se uskuteční na začátku prosince v Brazílii, umožnila 11 týmům poprvé okusit výkonnost svých vozů, které jsou nyní poháněny pohonem všech kol.

Pokud jde o společnosti DS Automobiles a PENSKE AUTOSPORT, nový vůz DS E-Tense FE25, který byl vyvinut společností DS Performance v posledních dvou letech, prokázal vysokou účinnost. Jean-Eric Vergne, dvojnásobný šampión tohoto sportu, a talentovaný Maximilian Günther pravidelně umisťovali své vozy v první desítce během šesti tréninků naplánovaných od 5. do 8. listopadu na okruhu Jarama.
Vedle oficiálních předsezónních testů uspořádala Formule E letos poprvé také test věnovaný ženám. Tyto jezdkyně, které se v současné době účastní řady různých šampionátů motoristického sportu po celém světě, měly příležitost předvést svůj talent za volantem monopostů Gen3 Evo, které se účastní 11. sezóny Formule E.

Za tým DS PENSKE řídili dva vozy DS E-TENSE FE25 britská jezdkyně Jessica Edgarová – jezdkyně akademie F1 – a Beitske Visserová z Holandska, známá osobnost v oblasti vytrvalostních závodů a W Series. Po tříhodinové jízdě zajeli 11. a šestý nejrychlejší čas z 18 klasifikovaných jezdkyň.
Společnost DS Automobiles má za sebou již svou 10. sezónu ve Formuli E, což je rekord prémiového výrobce v této sérii. Značka se účastní šampionátu čistě elektrických vozů od roku 2015 a její ohromující úspěchy se skládají ze dvou dvojitých titulů, 51 umístění na stupních vítězů, 16 vítězství a 24 pole position.
