Dnešní závod Grand Prix Španělska po dlouhé době opět ukázal závody F1 v pravém světle a souboj o pozice na stupních vítězů, vlastně můžeme říci o vítězství, byl bojem až do posledního kola. Celý tento závod začal velice dramatickým startem, kdy hned trojice jezdců Kimi Raikkonen ,Valteri Bottas a Max Verstappen kolidovala, kdy poslední dva jmenovaní museli hned ze závodu odstoupit a Valteri Bottas zřejmě s porouchaným motorem a šasi . Tomuto dramatickému okamžiku hned v první zatáčce po startu předcházela vynikající startovní reakce Sebastiana Vettela, který hned po startu z druhé pozice předjel Lewise Hamitona a již během prvních kol závodu mu začal ujíždět. Právě tito dva jezdci celému závodnímu poli poodjeli a bojovali o vítězství až do posledního kola závodu. Jelikož odstoupil Kimi Raikkonen , mohly dva Mercedesy během závodu taktizovat, což se při výměně pneumatik během závodu podařilo Valteri Botasovi, který pozdržel několik kol za sebou Sebastiana Vettela a tím pomohl svému stájovému kolegovi Lewisi Hamiltonovi ke snížení náskoku ve vedení závodu. Možná pro tuto taktickou variantu zůstal finským jezdec stáje Mercedes tak dlouho na dráze, protože po pár kolem musel svůj Mercedes odstavit s porouchaným motorem. Avšak o této variantě můžeme pouze spekulovat. Taktická bitva při výměně pneumatik nepřinesla pravé rozuzlení o vítězi této Grand Prix, jelikož po posledním výjezdu z boxu se zařadil Hamilton za rudé Ferrari pod vedením Sebastiana Vettela. Rozestup mezi vozy byl minimální, ale protože každá stáj volila jinou taktiku, měl na svém voze jezdec Mercedesu a trojnásobný mistr světa Lewis Hamilton lepší pneumatiky a po malé chvíli předjel, zhruba tak dvacet kol před cílem, Sebastiana Vettela jedoucího na Ferrari.
Zde nastala jedna z nejzajímavějších částí závodu, jelikož kromě na třetím místě jedoucího jezdce Red Bullu Riccarda, měli všichni jezdci ze startovního pole velkou ztrátu a vedoucí dvojice je začala předjíždět o celý okruh. Další hádankou bylo, zda na voze Mercedes vydrží pneumatiky až do cíle. Rozestup mezi oběma vozy byl maximálně do čtyř vteřin, ale to se měnilo s tím, jak se postupně proplétali mezi pomalejšími vozy. V této fázi osvědčil Lewis Hamilton svoji vytříbenou mistrovskou techniku jízdy a umění šetřit vůz a pnematiky a samotný inženýr stáje Ferrari sdělil Vettelovi, že zřejmě pneumatiky na vozidle Mercedes jsou stále ve velmi dobré stavu a Lewis Hamilton je schopen s nimi dojet až do cíle. Dramatické okamžiky nastaly až šest kol před koncem závodu, kdy se stáj Ferrari rozhodla k poslednímu útoku na vítězství a její jezdec Sebastian Vettel se začínal přibližovat vedoucímu Mercedesu až na vteřinu rozdílu. V tomto okamžiku opět zahrály velkou roli jezdci okolo pomalejší a shodou okolností stejně jako v minulé velké ceně v Rusku Filippe Massa. Ten zbrzdil stíhající vůz Ferrarti a tím v podstatě rozhodl, že nedojde k přímému souboji mezi stájemi Ferrari a Mercedes o první místo. Nebyl to však manévr ani nebezpečný ani bezohledný. Stejně víme, že specifikace letošních vozů neumožňuje lehké předjetí a navíc bylo jasné, že Lewis Hamilton již auto šetří na další závody a také pneumatiky, aby na nich mohl dojet. Tento závod jasně ukázal, jakým způsobem je rozděleno pole závodníků a další souboje o bodované umístění se odehrávaly daleko za vedoucími jezdci. Po dojetí byl Sebastian Vettel při rozhovoru s třetím Ricciardem velmi překvapen, kam zmizel jeho osmi vteřinový náskok na Hamiltona a jak mohl tuto Velkou cenu prohrát. Avšak bylo vidět na všech závodnících na stupních vítězů, jakou měli radost ze závodu a jak je těší, že konečně mohou soupeřit dvě, potažmo tři stáje na stupních vítězů. Můžeme konstatovat, že skončila dominance stáje Mercedes a opět se bude bojovat o titul mezi Ferrari a Mercedes.

After a long time today’s race of Grand Prix of Spain, showed once again the F1 races in its true form and the fight for the position on the winners´podium, or rather for the victory. It was a fight until the last lap. The race began with a very dramatic start, when three drivers Kimi Raikkonen, Valteri Bottas and Max Verstappen collided, the last two of the mentioned had to withdraw from the race and Valteri Bottas apparently had a breakdown of engine and chassis. This dramatic moment right in the first turning after the start was preceded by an excellent startup response of Sebastian Vettel, who immediately overtook Lewis Hamilton from the second position and already during the first laps of the race began to run off. These two riders drove off the whole racing field and fought for victory until the last lap of the race. As Kimi Raikkonen resigned, two Mercedes could act tactically during the race, Valteri Botas managed during the tyres replacement stop to held Sebastien Vettel up for several laps, helping his teammate Lewis Hamilton to reduce the margin in the race. Perhaps due to this tactical option, the Finnish driver of the Mercedes team remained so long on the track, as after a few minutes he had to park his Mercedes with a broken engine. However, we can only speculate about this . The tactical battle during the tyre replacement did not bring a true breakthrough for the winner of the Grand Prix, since Hamilton after the last of the boxing exile ranked after the red Ferrari under the leadership of Sebastian Vettela. The gap between the cars was minimal, but as each team had a different tactic, the Mercedes rider and the three-time world champion Lewis Hamilton had better tyres on his car, after a short while took over Sebastien Vettela’s Ferrari about twenty laps before the finnish line.
Here came one of the most interesting parts of the race, as besides the Red Bull driver on the third position Ricciardo, all the drivers had a great loss from the starting grid and the leading pair started to overtake by the whole lap. Another puzzle was whether the tyres on the Mercedes will keep up to the finish line. The distance between the two cars was up to four seconds, but it changed as they gradually intertwined between the slower cars. At this stage, Lewis Hamilton proved his excellent driving technique and the art of saving the car and tyres, and the Ferrari engineer himself told Vettel that the tyres on the Mercedes were still in good condition and Lewis Hamilton was able to reachon them to the finish. Dramatic moments came six laps before the end of the race, when Ferrari decided to make the final attack for the victory, and the team driver Sebastian Vettel was getting closer to the Mercedes driver for a split second. At this point again, the slower drivers played a big part under coincidental circumstances, as did Philippe Massa in the previous Grand Prix in Russia. He slowed down a chasing Ferrarti car and thus decided that there would not be a direct fight between the Ferrari and Mercedes teams for the first position. But this maneuver was neither dangerous nor reckless. We also know that the this year specifications of cars do not allow to over take easily, and it was clear that Lewis Hamilton already saves cars for other races as well as the tyres. This race clearly showed how the racing grid is divided, and further duelling for points scoring positions took place far behind leading drivers. After the race, Sebastian Vettel was very surprised during interview with the third Ricciardo, how his eight-second margin on Hamilton had vanished and how he could lose this Grand Prix. However, it was obvious that all drivers standing at the winners‘ podium, enjoyed the race,and they were happy that there could finally compete two, or three, teams on the winners podium. We can say that the dominance of the Mercedes team is over and there will be again fight for the title between Ferrari and Mercedes.

Pátý závod letošní sezony formule 1 se pojede 14.5.2017 na okruhu v Barceloně . V loňské sezoně zde zvítězil . Pole závodníků se již po čtyřech závodech rozdělilo podle výkonnosti teamů. O titul budou bojovat stáje Mercedes, Ferrari a Red Bull , zde záleží na jejích spolehlivosti motorů a kvalitě jezdců. Valteri Bottas v minulém závodě zvítězil poprve ve své kariéře a to po osmdesáti odjetých GP. Jeho vítězství nic neubírá na kvalitě Lewis Hamiltona a stále je velkým aspirantem na titul. Stáj Ferrari opět potvrzuje svůj vzestup výkonosti a dva jezdci na stupních vítězů v Soči toto potvrdili. Sebastian Vettel i Kimi Raikkonen jsou vysoce kvalitní a zkušení jezdci i bývalý mistři světa.
Max Verstappen a Daniel Riccardo mají také velké ambice a budou znepříjemńovat souboj o titul , navíc nikde není psáno , že během sezony jejích vůz nezvýšší výkon motoru a oba konkurenty dojede. Střed pole patří stájím Toro Roso, Force India a Haas , zde je jasné , že ambice na titul nemají , ale rádi do těchto bojů zasáhnou ze zadních pozic a potrápí favority. Nemůžeme po dvou závodech ani zatracovat stáje Renault, Sauber či McLaren leč jejich výkonost není optimální a to především o poslední jmenované kde se trápí Fernando Alonso. Stáj McLaren v Soči opět zklamala Alonso nedojel a Stoffel Vandoorne byl 14.
Velmi potěšitelné v letošní sezoně je fakt , že zde máme nové jezdce a ti se snaží přesvědčit o jejich dobré výkonnosti. Esteban Ocon má již devět bodů , Lance Stroll, Antonio Giovinazzi v kvalifikacích i treninku v závodech F1 ukazovali výborné výkony .
The fifth race of this year’s season Formula 1 will be held on 14th May 2017 at the Barcelona circuit. Last season the winner here was, Max Verstappen. The grid of competitors has been divided by team performance after four races. For title will be fighting teams Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull , depending on their engine reliability and quality of drivers.. Valtteri Bottas won the previous race for the first time in his career after eighty GPs . Nevertleless, his victory does not detract the quality of Lewis Hamilton who is still a great candidate for the title. The Ferrari team reaffirms its increasing performance and two drivers at the winner´s podium at Sochi have confirmed this. Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen are both high-quality and experienced drivers and former world champions. Max Verstappen and Daniel Riccardo also have great ambitions and will make the fight for the title harder, and it is not stated that during the season their cars will not increase engine performance and they manage to draw level with both rivals The center of the grid includes such teams as Toro Roso, Force India and Haas, here it is clear that they do not have ambitions for the title, but they may intervene into fight from the back position and give a hard time to the favorites. We cannot condemn Renault, Sauber or McLaren after two races, but their performance is not optimal, especially the last named where Fernando Alonso struggles. At Sochi McLaren team failed to meet expectations. Alonso did not finished the race and Stoffel Vandoorne was the 14th. In this season it is cheering that there are new drivers and they try to convince of their good performance. Esteban Ocon has got nine points, Lance Stroll, Antonio Giovinazzi showed both in qualifying and training in F1 races excellent performance
