The fourth race of this season will be held on 30th April 2017 at the circuit in Sochi. The first Grand Prix was run here in 2014 and this  year it will be the fourth race.Last season won Nico Rosberg , but he does not race any more so we will have an opportunity to see the new winner of the prize. After two races the grid of racers has been divided by team performance. The title contest is supposed to be between Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull , depending on their engine reliability and the drivers competency. In the grid Lewis Hamilton seems to be the most favored driver for the world championship title because he has the first-class car, he is a great driver and a team leader . He will be certainly assisted by V.Bottas in the title fight for the title. In  last race, in which Lewis Hamilton  was penalized for 5 seconds he proved to be an extraordinary driver. He admited his mistake and acknowledged victory of S. Vettel. The second driver V.Bottas still makes an effort   to   get the best performance from his car but it  is not   enough for his team fellow. At Ferrari it is not so clearly regulated and so Sebastian Vettel will have to fight for the title even with his colleague Kimi Raikkonen.  However, during recent years  Finn rides rather with ease than being fighting for the title . . He is certainly a good  driver but apparently one world title is sufficient for him  On the other hand, his colleague S. Vittel is hungry for the  victory and other  titles. Max Verstappen and Daniel Riccardo have great ambitions as well and they will spoil the fight for the title, besides, it is not pencilled in that during the season the engine power of their cars will not be increased and they draw levels with both rivals.The center of the grid  includes such  teams s Toro Roso, Force India and Haas, apparently they do not have ambitions for the title, , but they can enter into these struggles from the rear position giving to favorites a hard time. Neither after two races we can reject such team as Renault, Sauber or McLaren , however their performance is not optimal, it applies especially to the last mentioned one where Fernando Alfonso struggles.

McLaren team failed again in Bahrain  none of the cars have reached the finish and so we expect changes in Russia.  In this season it is very pleasing  that  there are new drivers  who  strive to convince of their good performance. Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll, Antonio Giovinazzi,  showed in qualifying and training  excellent performances, and the former has three points to his credit.
